Gran Tourismo 7

Ok so it's been a while since I did any reviews in general. I've been too busy with work, playing games, watching films (in which I seriously should have wrote about them) and suffering from Covid. Without any further ado, time to get the show rolling.

The Good: The good things about the game in general are of the following. The graphics for the PS4 are similar to the previous game. GT Sport. They have a wide range of cars, they made the game pretty similar to the 4th game. Where you get to click on a used car shop, the very first place you go to. You get to do objectives to unlock cars, you get to races and the likes. They have a decent amount of tracks, ranging from Brands Hatch, Bathhurst, LeMans and a few others. Driving school is quite fun, but challenging at the same time. I'll post a video below for an example. Oh plus excuse the title because it might be the wrong number. It was a basic how to.

The Bad: The main thing that is wrong with the game is based on Mini. Yes, Mini. They make a stupid claim that they are German just because they're owned by BMW. That's like me saying Lamborghini are German because they're owned by Volkswagen. They even claimed that Mini's headquarters is in Munchen, when that is actually in Oxfordshire. The game even said for I don't know why, they made the claim that McLaren was founded back in 2010. There are a few problems with that one. 1) In their other games, they have the F1 and a few others before 2010 AD. Two, the company have been making road legal cars from the late 80's but released during the early 90's. Three, the F1 team have been around since 1966. You can see where I'm going with this. I'll place both the Gran Tourismo wikia and an image I screenshot from a couple of weeks ago. McLaren | Gran Turismo Wiki | Fandom

Conclusion: Well there isn't anything ugly about it for starters. It is a very decent game, despite from the minor annoyance with car knowledge. Oh I forgotten to state that they used nitrous oxide for some cars, although I haven't unlocked it yet. You also need to plan out your rides properly, or face being stuck either at the back of the pack, or middle. It makes me happy that it feels like a grand strategy, although it's not meant to be the case. Decent car games are numerous and it includes this most recent release.
