NASCAR Ignition
NASCAR Ignition. Normally NASCAR has some decent games you can play, I.E the HEAT series, but Ignition is the polar opposite. Sure the game looks quite decent, but it doesn’t help with the handling, is diabolical and you have a lot of bugs. Whilst I’m not sure what the PC version of the game is like, but the Xbox version is just terrible. Sure, it has the official drivers, tracks, cars and etc. It was just not worth buying due to all of those problems. I spent like £20 on the game last year. Whilst at least the audio is fine, so I can not complain about that one. One of the only things I think was ok, was the whole US national anthem part, at the beginning of the race, due to a real life race has the US national anthem. That was after watching just one race. Could Motorsport Games do better? Absolutely yes, as if they have no problem with making RFactor2, in which that is a great racing sim, but that’s for another day. There again, they’re a bit too busy creating a British Touring Cars Championship game, in which I hope they don’t screw that one up. I genuinely think that the game would have been a lot better without all of these ridiculous mistakes, and what I’ve heard from someone on a website called I Like To Race (a social media website for motorsports and a great one) they had better experience with updates on PC. Maybe, I could in theory have a slightly better experience on the Xbox now, compared to the last time I’ve played the game. Either way, there are much better NASCAR games in general. Maybe one day ,I’ll buy the buy the older games on PS2.
